Had a really big days drive. Stopped to take a few photos of all the weird trees that travellers had decorated, there was a jogger tree full of shoes, a stuffed toy tree, a bottle tree, etc. It got to 47 deg today. We stopped at a rest stop just outside of Wilcannia and it was full of goats, they were desperate for water do we opened a few of our water bottles and gave them a drink by hand, they were gorgeous, even though they’re a feral animal. Dad would have liked some of the skins!

We were going to stop for the night at Cobar but it was so hot we thought we may as well keep going in the air conditioned car and make Nyngan, which we did. Booked into a caravan park. It’s 9pm now and still 41 degrees, give me strength!
