Took a photo of the RFDS crosswalk (emergency runway) in the middle of nowhere, looked cool. Drive to Fowlers Bay where it was super windy, looked like crap so we headed to Smokey Bay. The caravan park was packed out and there wasn’t much around in the way of shopping so we headed to Streaky Bay. Was 46 degrees when we arrived at 5.30pm so we thought bugger it we’ll book into a motel for the night. Booked a 2 bedroom villa which was awesome, spacious, well set out and has the Foxtel movie channels free. Bonus! Had dinner at the Streaky Bay Hotel, was delicious. I went to bed at around 7.30pm as I had the most horrible headache.
