Left Cactus Beach around 6.30am. Stopped to take a photo of the beautiful pink salt lakes that are in the way into Cactus. Stopped and had some breakfast along the way. Lily did her first bush wee, she was very excited – poor child must get out more. Called in at Border Village and got some tacky souvenirs for our cabinet. Went through the WA quarantine inspection at Border Village, the man too my lettuce, I was most disappointed – Brett says he should of taken a photo of his bloody lettuce as it’s all I’ve talked about lol. Stopped at Madura for a yummy hamburger that one of Brett’s mates had told him about. He was right they were delicious and huge. Took lots of photos on the way, the big whale at Eucla and the big kangaroo at Border Village and another big whale at Nullabor.  Trying to make it to Balledonia today so we’ve only got just under 400kms to reach Esperance.
