WA bound. 

Left NEWCASTLE at 5.50am, first stop was Dunnedoo for a quick coffee and a look around the markets. Stopped for fuel at Gilgandra and Cobar, head wind the whole way but not that hot, nothing over 30deg. Saw tonnes of goats right by the roadside, they were all obviously comfortable there as none of them moved. 6 dead emus on the road and lots of live ones. Near miss of 2 kangaroos. Didn’t pass too many cars and Cobar caravan park was basically empty – unbelievable. After driving 10hrs 15minutes we stopped just outside of Wilcannia, a place called Warrawong.
